The Rick Herrema Foundation’s (RHF) mission is strengthening military families and building communities through fun, quality activities. RHF’s first location, “Rick’s Place,” is located just minutes from Fort Bragg, North Carolina, home of the Airborne and Special Operations. Rick’s Place is open daily and free for military families, offering fishing, horseback riding, music and art, obstacle courses, nature trails, summer camps, gardening, and outdoor recreation. The atmosphere of relaxation and rejuvenation at Rick’s Place honors the ongoing sacrifice made by our military families, and provides them a peaceful, stigma-free place to connect before, during, and after deployments.
